FAQ

If you are new to therapy, or just want more information about our work together, I've answered the most asked questions below.

Are you registered with a governing body?

Yes, I am registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to their processes and Ethical Framework. This includes non- negotiable standards around confidentiality, professionalism and putting your needs first.

Do i need a specific condition to attend therapy & how often should i go?

No diagnosis is required, and the 50 minute sessions are flexible from once a week/once a month to longer sessions and twice weekly. There is no set amount of sessions and you can end therapy when you feel you no longer need it.

What happens after the consultation?

The free online/phone consultation gives you a chance to outline what brings you to therapy, ask questions and see if we'll be a good fit for working together. If you want to proceed, I'll send you some documents to look over before our first session.

This includes my cancellation policy, how I manage and store your data confidentially, payment and a contract outlining how we work together.
